The Caterpillar Acert C-15 15.2 Liter 2005 Through 2007 Exhaust Manifold is a high-quality, heat-tolerant bended steel product made in the U.S.A. It increases fuel mileage by .2 to .3 miles per gallon and horsepower by 28 to 32. The ceramic coating reduces heat and improves air velocity, lowering manifold temps by 300 degrees Fahrenheit and EGT's by 80 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. The manifold also reduces turbo lag, improves gasket life, and has thicker exhaust flanges and center dividers for greater strength and durability. With tighter tolerances and 50% more surface contact, the joints are press fit to ensure no leaks. The manifold fits C-15 15.2 Liter engines from 2005 through 2007 and replaces stock manifold 231-3462, commonly used in Peterbilt and Kenworth models.
