The Caterpillar Mid Mount Acert Exhaust Manifold is a high-quality, heat-tolerant bended steel product made in the U.S.A. It increases fuel mileage by .2 to .3 miles per gallon and horsepower by 28 to 32. The ceramic coating reduces heat and improves air velocity, lowering manifold temps by 300 degrees Fahrenheit and EGT's by 80 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. This product also reduces turbo lag, improves gasket life, and provides greater strength and durability with thicker exhaust flanges and center dividers. It fits C-15 15.2 liter engines from 2005 through 2007 and is commonly used in aerodynamic short-nosed Peterbilt and Kenworth models.
